NHS 111 now available in your pocket

We all bank, shop and order cabs on apps – so why can’t we access NHS health advice and services in the same way? Now over one million north Londoners can, as Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington CCGs go live with the first NHS 111 powered by babylon app.

The app launches on Tuesday 31 January led by the north central London CCGs, the NHS 111 provider in the area, London Central and West Unscheduled Care Collaborative, and Healthy London Partnership working closely with health and technology company babylon. This piece of work is part of the national digital programme to give patients better, more flexible access to urgent care services.

The app is in addition to the NHS 111 telephone service, giving people an alternative option to making a telephone call. Trusted, professional, confidential advice from the NHS, helping you take control of your health.

The app will be available to download from the App Store and Google Play and over 16s living, working or passing through the boroughs can find out more online at www.myhealth.london.nhs.uk/111babylon
